Event narrative

Eight inches of snow fell 5 miles northwest of Taylor. Nine inches of snow fell about 10 miles northwest of the town of Snowflake. Four inches of snow fell in Winslow at an elevation around 4900 feet. Eight and a half inches of snow fell in Shumway.

A winter storm brought heavy snow to areas of northern Arizona on January 12 and 13.
