Winter Weather in Jewell, Kansas

Freezing drizzle spreading across the area resulted in slick conditions. A woman going out to get her mail at her home, approximately 5 miles east-southeast of Esbon, slipped on ice, fell and later died. The exact time of her fall is unknown.
