Wider weather episode

Two men and one woman decided to jump into Lake Michigan near North Avenue Beach in Chicago just before 8 am on December 21st. The water temperature was 38 degrees and waves were estimated around 6 feet with north winds to 30 knots. One of the men was able to pull himself out of the water. The second man was rescued by authorities and taken to the hospital. The search for the woman was called off at 930 am due to the rough conditions.
