A rock slide was reported along a portion of Cumberland Gap Road.

Another fairly wet system affected the region January 23-24, with an additional 1 to 2 inches of rain falling ahead of a strong cold front and producing some minor flooding a a few mud and rock slides. A couple of rain gages approached 2 inches in a 24-hour period ending 700 AM local time on the 24th, including Devils Knob IFLOWS (BLCV2) 1.98' and Fancy Gap IFLOWS (FYGV2) 1.97'.
