A storm system impacted portions of southern Colorado with snow, heavy at times. Some of the higher reported storm totals with this event included six to ten inches of snow near Alamosa, Maysville, Cascade, Texas Creek, Westcliffe, Woodland Park, Wetmore, Colorado City, Monarch Pass, Palmer Lake, Climax, Walsenburg, Divide, Monte Vista, Wolf Creek Pass, Peyton and the Air Force Academy. Eleven to twelve inches of snow was measured near Monument, Black Forest and the Spanish Peaks. 13 to 14 inches of snow graced the communities of Beulah and Rye, while 18 inches of snow impacted locations near San Isabel.
