Event narrative

The Peach County Emergency Manager reported significant damage to a mobile home on Highway 41 when a tree was blown over onto the home. Another structure sustained minor damage at the location. No injuries were reported.

A sharp upper-level trough and associated strong cold front swept through the region resulting in numerous reports of damaging thunderstorm wind gusts and a few isolated tornadoes across parts of north and central Georgia.
