Heavy snowfall was widespread across the Salt Lake and Tooele Valleys, with storm total snowfall reports of 18 inches in Sandy and Cottonwood Heights, 11 inches in Olympus Cove and Upper Millcreek, 8 inches in Draper, and 12 inches in Tooele. For the calendar day of January 21, Tooele recorded 8.6 inches of snow, which broke the calendar day record of 8 inches set in 1974.
