Wider weather episode

A woman was walking her dog with a friend at Fort Funston under some steep cliffs when sand gave way and slid down over 100 feet on February 22nd. Crews rescued the friend and the dog, but one woman did not survive. Saturated soils from previous rainfall may have contributed to the slide.
