Hendry County EM reports a 40 acre wildfire in Glades County just north of La Belle. There were no reported injuries or evacuations. FFS Okeechobee District was on-scene and reported that the fire was fully contained. Two uninhabited mobile homes were damaged by the fire.

Dry conditions across South Florida allowed a wildfire to burn in Glades County. A wildfire started near LaBelle and burned around 40 acres. The wildfire destroyed two mobile uninhabited mobile homes.
