A spotter at Winchester reported 6.5 inches of new snow accumulation.

Beginning during the afternoon of February 24th and lasting through the day of February 25th a stationary front developed along the Oregon/Washington border and into central Idaho. Snow developed along this front and deposited a narrow corridor of heavy snow across far southeast Washington and the central and southern Idaho Panhandle, with generally 1 to 3 inches across the southern Columbia Basin in Washington and the northern Idaho Panhandle.
