Two day snow amounts were extremely heavy with 33 inches at the Emigrant Summit SNOTEL and 14 inches at the Franklin Basin SNOTEL.

Wider weather episode

A drawn out storm system brought heavy snow to southeast Idaho from February 2nd through the 5th with road closures and school closings to go with the heavy snow.
