Caltrans reported that in Yolo County, I-505 was closed in both directions from I-5 to SR16 due to flooding.

Wider weather episode

Heavy snow fell over the mountains and extended down into lower elevations, causing widespread travel problems and road closures. Thunderstorms brought heavy rain and small hail with widespread road flooding. Gusty winds brought down trees and caused power outages.
