Event narrative

The ASOS at White Plains Airport measured a wind gust up to 58 mph at 340 pm. at 1257 pm, the sustained wind was 40 mph at the same airport. In addition, a sustained wind speed of 40 mph was measured at 1257 pm. At Croton-on-Hudson, a wind gust up to 59 mph was measured at 1019 am. Around 9 am, a huge tree was knocked down on Union Ave, taking wires down as well. This occurred in the town of Peekskill and was reported by a trained spotter.
