A storm system brought rain and snow to much of the area. A band of heavier precipitation produced more significant snowfall across the central and southern Black Hills during the morning. Snowfall across these areas and the adjacent foothills ranged from two to six inches on grass and other cold surfaces, with some higher amounts to eight inches.
