Sumter County Emergency Management reported that a tree had fallen on a mobile home off of County Road 647 in Istachatta.

A strong complex of thunderstorms moved across the Eastern Gulf of Mexico before coming ashore across the Florida peninsula during the afternoon. Strong to severe thunderstorms produced widespread wind damage across west-central and southwest Florida along with a brief tornado as a waterspout moved ashore.
