What EF0 means. On the Enhanced Fujita scale, EF0 is light damage: shingles and siding peeled, gutters torn, branches broken, consistent with estimated gusts of 65–85 mph. The rating comes from a survey of the worst damage after the storm, not from a wind measurement, so it says as much about what the tornado hit as about how strong it was.

What the National Weather Service wrote

A National Weather Service survey determined that an EF0 tornado with maximum wind speeds 75 mph and a maximum path width of 75 yards touched down in western Lamar County just north of Highway 18 and west of Five Points Road. The short-lived tornado moved northeast crossing Five Points Road and snapping or uprooting several trees before dissipating south of Grove Street. No injuries were reported. The wider storm

A surface low and associated cold front swept through the region ahead of a deep upper-level trough. Moderate instability and strong shear, combined with the vigorous mid and upper-level dynamics to produce scattered reports of damaging thunderstorm winds and isolated tornadoes.
