Broadcast media reported a fatality of a 64-year-old male driver of a vehicle that hydroplaned on a wet roadway at Deans Bridge Rd at Spring Grove Dr. Time of accident estimated. Broadcast media reported that the man was pronounced dead at 1259 EDT (1159 EST).

Moderate to strong atmospheric instability and shear led to two separate lines of showers and thunderstorms that moved east across the region during the afternoon and evening, producing some wind damage. An indirect fatality occurred in an automobile accident.
