Gusty north winds developed across the mountains of Ventura county. Wind gusts around 60 MPH were reported.

The wider storm

Strong and gusty northerly winds developed across the mountains of Santa Barbara, Ventura and Los Angeles counties as well as the South Coast of Santa Barbara county. Additionally, gusty westerly winds developed across the Antelope Valley. Wind gusts between 60 and 70 MPH were reported in these areas.
