Flood water was reported in a home in Boling with flooded roadways in and around the town of Wharton. There were also reports of stranded vehicles in the flood waters inundating Wharton.

A very moist environment, with decent upper level forcing, allowed clusters of near coastal high rainfall bands to develop and slowly move northward.
