Public saw a cold air funnel approximately 3 miles north of Emigrant Pass while driving eastbound on I-80. The cold air funnel did not touch down.

A persistent and cold area of low pressure, along with a moist atmosphere, provided a conducive environment for the formation of cold air funnels across northern and central Nevada during the end of May 2019.
