Event narrative

There was widespread flooding of fields and lowlands along the river across Union County. There were at least 5000 acres of agricultural land flooded and numerous roads had damage.

Wider weather episode

Snow water equivalents near 200% of normal in the Blue Mountains coupled with warm temperatures and near record rainfall totals for April produced significant river flooding across eastern Oregon.
