What EF2 means. On the Enhanced Fujita scale, EF2 is considerable damage: roofs torn off well-built houses, mobile homes destroyed, large trees snapped or uprooted, consistent with estimated gusts of 111–135 mph. The rating comes from a survey of the worst damage after the storm, not from a wind measurement, so it says as much about what the tornado hit as about how strong it was.

What the National Weather Service wrote

The EF-2 tornado produced intermittent damage along its track including taking a metal roof off of a home. The most severe damage occurred on the northeast end of the track where trees were stripped of limbs, vehicles were tossed and stacked upon one another and a double wide trailer home was destroyed.

The wider storm

A storm system moving eastward across the state produced several tornadoes, some wind damage and large hail.

Began near Post Oak (31.0789, -95.5773).
