A passing storm system generated heavy snow at times in combination with gusty winds. Some of the higher reported snow totals with this storm included six inches of snow near the communities of Beulah, Palmer Lake, Rye and Walsenburg. Seven inches of snow grace Wetmore, while ten inches of snow was measured near Fort Garland.
