Two trees were reported down. The first tree along Highway 31 and the other was downed in Sneedville.

A line of severe thunderstorms moved east across the Southern Appalachian region during the afternoon and early evening. The storms utilized a sufficiently sheared airmass with a moderate level of instability. Wind damage was the primary severe weather feature with this event.
