Thunderstorm winds blew down a large tree onto Highway 154 just east of intersection with Idaho Road.

Wider weather episode

A strong cold front was moving through the region. This combined with an upper level disturbance, decent instability and moisture, generated numerous storms, some of which produced large hail and damaging winds.
