The Montgomery County Emergency Manager reported a few tree tops broken along Thompson Pond Road near the Toombs County Line.

Wider weather episode

Ample moisture returning north from the Gulf of Mexico and multiple short waves moving across the region in the southwest upper flow produced scattered thunderstorms across north and central Georgia. Moderate instability across central Georgia resulted in isolated severe thunderstorms each afternoon.
