Event narrative

The Macon County 911 center reported several trees down between Oglethorpe and Montezuma. In Oglethorpe, a tree was blown down around the intersection of Clifton Bradley Drive and Anna Drive. In Montezuma, a tree fell onto and damaged a home and a car under the carport. No injuries were reported.

Wider weather episode

A moderately unstable atmosphere and weak upper-level low produced widespread thunderstorms over north and central Georgia with scattered reports of damaging thunderstorm wind gusts.
