Strong convective gusts damaged recreational vehicle awnings and porches at Webbs Lakefront Campground in Bean Station.

Wider weather episode

A few storms formed in the strong heating of the afternoon on higher terrain features. The storms developed in a moderately unstable atmosphere with very weak shear. A couple of the strongest storms developed over the Cumberland Plateau producing some wind damage.
