Event narrative

A waterspout was observed two miles southeast of Alligator Reef Light. The waterspout was of medium width at the cloud base and narrow from midway down to the water surface at a 45-degree tilt from vertical. A spray ring was also visible.

A waterspout was observed in association with rain showers along a convergence cloud line along the Reef offshore Islamorada.
