Heavy rain and flash flooding caused a rock slide that closed SR 366 at MP 131.

Scattered thunderstorms formed over areas from Tucson eastward. Storms in Graham County downed trees from Fort Thomas to Safford and caused flash flooding in the Safford area as well as Mt. Graham. A child was injured by a lightning strike while swimming in Cluff Lake southwest of Safford.
