Event narrative

Numerous thunderstorms moved across the area on 9/5/19. Dozens of fires were initiated by lightning. One of them was the Gopher Wildfire, which started off as five fires, all ignited by lightning strikes around 05/1915 PDT. The fires merged into one fire. As of the last report on 27/0430 PDT, the fire was at 354 acres and was 100 percent contained. 0 structures were lost and 4.8 million dollars had been spent on firefighting efforts.
