An ex NFL football player suffered from heat stroke in Carlisle, AR while working outside at his parent's shop. He later died at a hospital in North Little Rock, AR. He was 32 years old.

After the remnants of hurricane Barry departed to the northeast of Arkansas on the 17th, high pressure and hot weather returned for several days. An ex NFL football player died of heat stroke on July 18, 2019. This was a result of the hot and humid conditions at this time.
