A sustained wind of 40 knots was recorded at CAPL1 on the 13th while a max wind gust of 48 knots was recorded on the 14th.

Barry gained strength as it moved toward the Louisiana coast and obtained minimal hurricane status on the 13th before landfall. Mostly tropical storm force winds were recorded however hurricane force gusts were also reported.
