The I-70 at Salina sensor recorded a peak wind gust of 61 mph.

Wider weather episode

Several rounds of thunderstorms between August 8 and August 10 resulted in numerous reports of flash flooding, debris flows from burn scars, and severe winds. Heavy rain over Little Cottonwood Canyon resulted in a debris flow that resulted in damage to state Route 210.
