The Wheeler County Emergency Manager reported a tree blown down near the intersection of Hope Church Road and Daisy Lane.

During the afternoon and evening hours of Saturday, October 19th, the post-tropical remains of what was once Tropical Storm Nestor swept across south Georgia bringing moderate winds, isolated severe thunderstorms and flash flooding to portions of north and central Georgia. A brief, isolated tornado was confirmed in central Georgia.
