A swell from a strong low far northwest of the Hawaiian Islands generated surf of 12 to 24 feet along the north- and west-facing shores of Niihau and Kauai; and along the north-facing shores of Oahu, Molokai, and Maui; 8 to 15 feet along the west-facing shores of Oahu and Molokai, and along the north-facing shores of the Big Island. No significant property damage or injuries were reported.
