A well-defined, narrow waterspout with a significant tilted structure was observed about 24 miles south of the NWS office in Key West.
Wider weather episode
Isolated waterspouts developed over the Straits of Florida south of Key West as lower tropospheric flow slackened as Hurricane Dorian moved further northeast into the northwestern Atlantic.
