The cold front that was responsible for the strong wind gusts and areas of blowing dust on November 25 brought a much colder airmass into the area. During the morning of November 26, diminished winds along with clear skies resulted in the first widespread freeze of the season across the San Joaquin Valley where several stations had low temperatures between 29 and 32 degrees F.
