At Road PR-144 KM 2.2, a significant portion of the asphalt was removed due to heavy rain, causing the road to be closed.

An upper-level trough in combination with light steering flow, sufficient low-level moisture and local and diurnal effects resulted heavy showers and thunderstorms across portions of interior Puerto Rico.
