A low pressure system tracked from the central Plains through northeast Wisconsin, bringing 7 to 12 inches of snow to portions of north-central and northeast Wisconsin.

Some of the highest snowfall totals included 11.5 inches in Florence (Florence Co.), 9.0 inches in Niagara (northern Marinette Co.), and 8.5 inches in Spread Eagle (Florence Co.) as well as Lac Vieux Desert (Vilas Co.).
