The Mississippi River at the BRLI4 gage rose above major flood stage of 18.0 feet on the 8th, and crested at 18.36 feet at 1 PM CST on the 15th. It fell back below 18.0 feet on the 19th.

Wider weather episode

A wet fall pattern resulted in major flooding on a few sites along the Mississippi River in October, 2019. Keithsburg, Illinois and Burlington, Iowa were both over major flood stage due to an extended wet weather pattern from September through early October.
