Strong and gusty Santa Ana winds impacted the coastal valleys of Ventura county. The RAWS sensor at Wiley Ridge reported northeast wind gusts up to 62 MPH. A utility company sensor at Happy Camp reported northeast wind gusts up to 64 MPH.

In late October, another round of strong and gusty Santa Ana winds impacted Southern California. Northeasterly wind gusts up to 68 MPH were reported across the mountains and valleys of Ventura and Los Angeles counties.
