Strong and gusty Santa Ana winds impacted the Santa Monica Mountains. The RAWS sensor at Malibu Hills reported north to northeast wind gusts up to 58 MPH.

In late October, another round of strong and gusty Santa Ana winds impacted Southern California. Northeasterly wind gusts up to 68 MPH were reported across the mountains and valleys of Ventura and Los Angeles counties.
