Well above normal temperatures occurred in Cochise County on June 26th. A temperature of 107 degrees occurred at Cascabel with 100 at Benson and Willcox. The Pima County Medical Examiner confirmed that heat was the primary cause of death for one adult male west of Dragoon.

Hot temperatures were experienced in parts of southeast Arizona on June 26th. One heat-related fatality occurred in Cochise County.
