Heavy rain aided in a rock slide on Highway 299. West bound lane was closed as a result.

An anomalously cold upper low dropped south from British Columbia toward the coast of northwest California during late November. Wide spread wind damage occurred across the region, as well as mountain snow, and small hail near the coast.
