Snowfall totals from 8 to 14 inches were observed across the area with the heaviest snow near Healy. A Storm Spotter in Healy reported a storm total of 13 inches. The heavy snow impacted the Parks Highway with travel delays.

Wider weather episode

Low pressure moving from the northeast Gulf of Alaska into the eastern Interior along the Alaska-Yukon Territory produced heavy snow over portions of the eastern Interior and Alaska Range October 9-11th. Storm total snowfall ranged from 8 inches to 14 inches, heaviest in the Alaska range and upper Tanana Valley.
