The vehicle was travelling southbound on Route F and lost control on the ice covered roadway. The vehicle left the roadway and overturned in the ditch.

After several hours of light snow area roads became slick. several accidents occurred due to the icy roads, but one accident in Johnson County Missouri resulted in a fatality.
