Wider weather episode
A warm front, a strong low pressure system and a potent low level jet combined to produce an assortment of weather across southern New England. While the low pressure system contributed to strong winds across much of the area, the combination of the front and low level jet allowed for the development of thunderstorms that produced severe damaging winds.
