Snow accumulation of 3-5 inches. A two-vehicle head on crash related to snow covered roads resulted in one death and nine injuries.

A surge of relatively warm and moist air aloft and an upper level disturbance and front, brought several inches of snow to southern WI. Some areas received 6-10 inches. Snow covered roads and low visibilities resulted in many vehicle slide-offs and accidents. A large vehicle backup occurred on Brookfield Hill in Brookfield. A two-vehicle crash in rural Racine County resulted in one death and nine injured, when one vehicle lost control on snow covered roads and crossed the center line.
