Event narrative

One person died after a snow plowing accident involving two vehicles near Lublin. The person killed was using a pickup to push snow across a road and pulled out in front of the second vehicle. COOP and volunteer snow observers reported that 7 to 8 inches of snow fell across Taylor County. The highest reported total was 8 inches in Rib Lake.

Wider weather episode

The month of December ended with a storm system dropping heavy snow on portions of western Wisconsin on the 30th. One person was killed the following day in a snow plowing accident involving two vehicles near Lublin (Taylor County). Snowfall amounts were generally in the 6 to 8 inch range, although a pocket of heavier snow produced totals around 10 inches across the northern portions of Clark County. The highest reported totals were 9.5 inches near Owen (Clark County) and 10.5 inches in Loyal (Clark County).
